Koch Chemie TropicSnow is the high-cling, pH-neutral snow foam that opens the Koch Chemie The Finisher wash workflow. Engineered in the Koch Chemie laboratories in Unna, Germany, TropicSnow is built around one principle: maximum dwell time means maximum pre-wash effectiveness. The dense foam clings to vertical panels for minutes, softening road film, bug residue and traffic grime before any wash mitt touches the paint.

Where cheap snow foams collapse off the panels within seconds, TropicSnow stays put. The German formulation uses surfactants tuned for paint-safe lubrication and a foam structure designed to encapsulate contamination, not just push it around. Use it as a touchless first pass before MagicShampoo, or as a full contact-free wash for lightly soiled maintenance days.

How to Use Koch Chemie TropicSnow

Foam cannon application (recommended):

1. Fill a 1-litre foam cannon bottle with 50 to 100ml of TropicSnow, top up with warm water.

2. Pre-rinse the vehicle with a strong stream of water to remove loose dirt and grit.

3. Apply TropicSnow from the bottom of each panel upwards, ensuring even coverage on all surfaces.

4. Let the foam dwell for 3 to 5 minutes. Watch dirt run off as the foam loosens road film.

5. Rinse thoroughly from top to bottom with a strong water stream.

6. Continue with MagicShampoo two-bucket contact wash for the cleanest possible finish, or stop here for a contact-free maintenance wash.

Pump sprayer application:

1. Dilute TropicSnow 1:10 with water in a pump sprayer.

2. Spray onto a rinsed, cool vehicle in section-by-section coverage.

3. Dwell 3 to 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Pro tip: apply TropicSnow on a cool, shaded vehicle for maximum dwell time. Hot panels and direct sunlight cause foam to dry too quickly, reducing the contact-free cleaning benefit.

Important: never let TropicSnow dry on the paint. If the foam starts to break before rinsing, mist the panel with water to extend dwell time.
